Update November 2024: We just added some Upgrade options for those that "need" more than just a Volume. The Deluxe option adds both a Bright and a Tight toggle with the "best" settings chosen by Richard.
Our newest creation is possibly our simplest one. Although it took a few years to sort out how to do it the way we imagined, it's here, it sounds good on everything and it's a very handsome price! This is the secret sauce behind our former Nemesis Preamp and you'll see why with the very first note played.
The Nemesis Boost gives you exactly what you'd expect from a modern mid boost or overdrive meant to tighten up your tone and nothing more. Harmonics are effortless. Palm mutes are crunchy. Noise is minimized. Weak tone is crushed.
Volume: This controls the overall volume of the pedal. No surprises found here. We designed it to have a good amount of signal gain but not too much to overload any amplifiers input. Settings closer to noon will give you the tightness and tone of the pedal without amplifying your guitar's signal too much. Settings from 2 o'clock and up will add more and more signal gain and push your amp harder.
Power: The Nemesis Boost can be run anywhere from 9-18volts.
