THE LINDWORM POWER AMP
Say hello to the Lindworm Power Amp! It's a 60watt Class D Power Amplifier with just enough control to pair it with any of your favorite preamps or any digital modeler out there like the Axe-FX, Kemper, Helix, Quad Cortex, etc.
Volume: This is the most obvious. It makes whatever you plug into it louder.
Presence: This is the same in function to what you would find on any amplifier, but with a handful of differences. Rather than altering the negative feedback loop, this Presence control is a combination of a passive treble bleed and an active eq.
Resonance: This is also known as Depth depending on what part of the world you live in. It is essentially a low end control for dialing in the thickness/"meat" of your tone. We fine tuned it to help capture some of the "feel" of a thumping 4x12 cab at low volumes. Crank it up and hear how massive your tone gets!
Mids -/+: This is what sets our power amp apart from others. Never again do you have to settle for whatever midrange frequencies are most present in the power amp you've plugged into. Turning this control to Noon will essentially bypass the effect. To the left will cut whatever frequency the Shape control is set to. To the right boosts it. High mids will give you additional presence when boosted. Low mids being cut will clear up any honk/cardboard tone.
Shape: This is the sweep of the range on the Mids -/+ control. Frequency ranges are detailed in the Bull/Beaver Switch section.
Bull/Beaver: This two position toggle switch selects between two independent frequency ranges. Beaver Mode sets the Shape control to a range of 400-800hz. Bull Mode sets the Shape control to a range of 1500-2500hz.
Power: The Lindworm Power Amp is designed to be used with the included power supply ONLY!
DC IN: This is the DC input to plug in the included power supply. DO NOT mix this up with the 9volt output.
9V Out: This is a 9volt pedal power OUTPUT. Provides up to 100mA of current.
Output: Class D power ratings are dependent on speaker/cabinet impedance. Full power is achieved at 4ohm. Speaker cabs can be run in parallel to reduce impedance and there is no switching needed to match your cab to the power amp.
